Bone-pressed (BP) length
Measure from the pubic bone to the tip while gently compressing the pubic fat pad. Measure along the top of the shaft.

Open the 3D SizerMeasure from the pubic bone to the tip while gently compressing the pubic fat pad. Measure along the top of the shaft.
Start at the visible base without compression. BP and NBP measurements are different and should be tracked separately.
Wrap a flexible tape around the middle of the shaft without squeezing. Use the full circumference, not the diameter.

The Sizer uses individually selectable studies. Results are compared against each study's own measurements, rather than treating distinct samples as one population.
| Study and source | Mean length | Mean girth | Sample sizes | How it was measured |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Veale et al. (2015) | 13.12 cm | 11.66 cm | 692 length / 381 girth | Pooled professionally measured studies; erect length and girth have different sample sizes. |
| Herbenick et al. (2014) | 14.15 cm | 12.23 cm | 1661 length / 1661 girth | US self-measurement sample. |
| Habous et al. (2015) | BP 14.34 / NBP 12.53 cm | 11.50 cm | 778 length / 778 girth | Urology clinic sample; BP and NBP lengths are from the same participants. |
Veale's review includes up to 15,521 participants across measures, but the erect-length and girth sample sizes are smaller. Habous BP and NBP rows come from the same cohort.

Measure along the top of the shaft from the pubic bone to the tip, gently compressing the pubic fat pad. Keep the same method when tracking changes.
Measure from the visible base to the tip without compressing the fat pad. NBP and BP lengths use different starting points.
Wrap a flexible tape around the midshaft without squeezing. Record circumference, not diameter, and measure the same location each time.
The calculator compares your length and girth separately with the published mean and standard deviation for the study you select.
Yes. Open a performer reference and select Compare in 3D. The source and measurement method are stated on each reference page.
